Take full control of your brand's content and eliminate unnecessary requests by curating your customized brand portal. Designed with content distribution in mind, every Collage account automatically generates a separate user interface for other teams and partners to find and download important content. So how do you control what content is found on your brand portal?
It's very simple: toggle an asset, folder, or collage to “public” to make it instantly visible on your brand portal. Want something off-limits? Set it to “private,” and it will be hidden from view. Subfolders and assets inherit their permissions from parent folders for streamlined management, while collages are managed independently.
Examples in action
Share only polished marketing assets with vendors, while keeping your work-in-progress drafts private.
Feature a stunning collage for your latest campaign, visible to all on your portal, without revealing support documents and early drafts.
Either show it on your brand portal or don't—it's that simple and completely up to you! Show off your best work, keep sensitive content secure, and build a compelling brand experience with precision and ease.

Understanding Content Permissions
It's helpful to understand a few key points regarding how permissions impact assets, folders, and collages. Our goal is to simplify things as much as possible, and in an effort to do that the private/public toggle essentially controls one thing, whether or not the item is shown on the brand portal:
Making an asset private hides the asset from the brand portal.
Making a folder private hides the folder and all contained assets from the brand portal.
Making a collage private hides the collage from the brand portal.
Adjusting permissions for a parent folder from the folder archive page:
Adjusting asset permissions from the asset detail page:
While a folder and asset's permissions are intentionally linked - an asset will inherit the permission of the containing folder - a collage's permissions are managed independently. What does this mean exactly?
A private collage can have both public and private assets in it.
A public collage can have. both public and private assets in it.
A private collage cannot be found on the brand portal but any public assets in that collage can be found through other public collages or folders.
A public collage can be found on the brand portal but any private assets in that collage will not be seen.
